Requirements are also included for anaesthetic vaporizers intended for incorporation into anaesthetic machines. Does not apply to intermittent-flow anaesthetic machines which deliver gas to the breathing system at varying rates in response to the patient's inspiratory efforts, and to dental nitrous oxide-oxygen analgesia machines. This Standard is based on ISO 5358:1992.
